ALL-WAYS TRAVEL IS ACQUIRED BY THE TRAVEL AUTHORITY
KNOXVILLE, TN, February, 22, 2008 — The acquisition of All-Ways Travel located in Knoxville, Tennessee by The Travel Authority, headquartered in Jeffersonville, Indiana is effective today.
The Travel Authority is a diverse vacation and corporate travel management company with more than 40 branch locations in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee, and Florida. Company sales in 2007 exceeded $300 million. The Travel Authority is the largest American Express Travel Representative and 100% employee owned. The Travel Authority has maintained offices in Knoxville, Tennessee for more than 20 years.
All-Ways Travel has been serving the Knoxville area for 23 years providing corporate, leisure and group travel services. Company sales in 2007 were more than $10 million.
